Spanish biometric surveillance firm Herta Security has revealed plans to unveil an advanced GPU-based facial recognition solution at an upcoming event, saying it benefits from an integration with open platform digital Video Storage firm WavestoreUSA.Herta Security will launch a new version of its BioSurveillance NEXT product, which is specially designed for the simultaneous identification of subjects in crowded and changeable environments.Once a face is detected by the software, the firm says that integration with Wavestore's video management software means time/date stamps can be added to the image and stored it alongside any relevant recorded video.”We're excited to be able to demonstrate Herta's new GPU solution and show the integration in action at the WavestoreUSA booth,” said Wavesto-reUSA Product Manager, Dacian Andrei.The two companies are offering a demo of their integration technology partnership at the ISC West, Las Vegas, on 15-17 April.
