South Korean tech firm Samsung has filed a patent application detailing multiple biometric ID forms for a new foldable device.The foldable smartphone, codenamed Project Valley by tech media, is expected to include a fingerprint scanner and iris scanner, similar to the one seen on the Galaxy Note 7.But the OEM also envisions adding other biometric logins such as palm print, face, voice, palm line information.In the patent, Samsung says it could also make use of movement pattern information, like walking style or ECG information for unlocking phones.The versatile system could be used on phones, tablets and wearables.Samsung is reportedly developing two foldable smartphones, one that would have a dual-display setup and the other with a single flexible screen.
