iProov has won a two-year contract valued at £11.6 million to supply its verification software for the government’s One Login for Government program.
Other contracts were signed with a facial authentication solution provider and liveness detection startup. Back in February, the UK’s Government Digital Service selected consultancy firm, Deloitte in the development of a smartphone app to verify individual access to Government services.
The purpose of ‘One Login for Government’ program is to enable easier and more secure access to Government services with one simple login process while complying with proper handling of user data.
