Human interface firm Synaptics has revealed that its Natural ID sensors have been selected for the Huawei Honor 6X. The square format sensor is located on the backside of the Honor 6X, enabling users to easily unlock the phone with a touch of the finger and safely access applications and data or perform secure mobile transactions.Synaptics noted in a statement that its Natural ID fingerprint sensors are available with SentryPoint technology, including match-in-sensor technology, Quantum Matcher with PurePrint anti-spoof technology, and SecureLink 256-bit AES with TLS 1.2 encryption.”Huawei is an innovative leader and Synaptics is thrilled to be featured on the new Honor 6X smartphone,” said Anthony Gioeli, vice president of marketing, Biometrics Product Division, Synaptics. “We very much look forward to building on this key relationship and together deliver high-performance, highly secure solutions that benefit users globally.”
