In a product development that will likely dismay biometric security developers, a startup has developed stickers for gloves so users can bypass fingerprint authentication measures on smartphones.The stickers can be enrolled in smartphones as if representing a real fingerprint.The company says its “TAPS” sticker “is made with an extremely adhesive conductive material that can be applied to any surface for touch capability.”TAPS are formulated to stick and stay on almost any surface and guaranteed to work on all touchscreen devices.”It pledges that every TAPS with a unique fingerprint – and “this gives your gloves access to any biometric fingerprint scanner”.
