Sweden's Precise Biometrics has signed a distribution related licensing agreement with Zeitec that involves the former's Precise Biomatch mobile solution.In a statement, Precise Biometrics said the agreement includes a per unit license fee, and annual fee's for right to use precise biometrics algorithm solution and for support and maintenance.The company is currently projecting that some initial revenue generated under agreement will be recognized starting from Q1 of 2017.Earlier this week, Precise Biometrics and NXP Semiconductors also signed a license agreement for the fingerprint software.In a statement, the firms said NXP will enhance its fingerprint reader security by integrating Precise Biometrics' BioMatch fingerprint recognition software.The first business agreement under the framework agreement covers licensing of fingerprint software for embedding into NXP´s fingerprint reader products. The business agreement includes a per unit license fee, a fee for support and maintenance and a fee for non-recurring engineering efforts. Precise Biometrics is currently projecting that some initial revenues generated under the agreement will be recognized starting from the first quarter of 2017. The per unit license fee is volume dependent and cannot be forecasted by Precise Biometrics at this point.
