Password manager app Keeper has added support for fingerprint authentication as part of its upgrade version for the latest version of android. The new version of Keeper includes support for these fingerprint systems in some compatible devices and it is integrated with Keeper's FastFill feature, this feature allows users to fill and save passwords from native Android apps and web browsers, reported Android Headlines. The fingerprint security integration in Keeper, which partners with Samsung and Orange, makes it easier to access their private Keeper Vault, as they just need to put their finger on the sensor to log in.Once users have done this, it will give them access to all of their sensitive and personal data such as passwords, files, photos and videos.Last month, rival Password manager Enpass added fingerprint support on app for Android's new Marshmallow operating system. However, that new feature is currently only available on the Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X. Users can now launch the Enpass app and automatically access passwords by simply putting their finger on the Nexus Imprint sensor. In October, Android has released a new sample demonstrating how to securely integrate its systems with compatible fingerprint readers. In a blog post, Android revealed how the Android Fingerprint API protects user privacy by keeping users' fingerprint features carefully contained within secure hardware on the device. The code sample “AsymmetricFingerprintDialog” demonstrates how to use an asymmetric key, in the context of authenticating an online purchase.
