Qatar has said incoming visitors should not use ID cards to help stop the spread of Covid-19.In a statement, the State of Qatar as part of efforts to take all the necessary preventive measures to limit the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), all Qatari citizens and citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries entering the State of Qatar or travelling to other Gulf countries should use their passports and not their ID cards as of 6 March 2020.This comes as a precautionary measure to combat the spread of the Corona virus (COVID-19).
