Precise Biometrics has announced that its fingerprint matching software – along with a sensor from Fingerprint Cards – has been integrated in a smartphone with an additional Chinese manufacturer.The integration of the Precise BioMatch Mobile software will generate license revenue starting from the third quarter of 2015, the company claims, although the exact value is based on the number of sensors FPC delivers to the mobile phone manufacturer and cannot be forecast at this point.According to Precise Biometrics, Precise BioMatch Mobile integrates fingerprint matching functionality into smartphones and tablets, and is optimised for small touch sensors in mobile environments through a patented hybrid algorithm.
