Organisers of the LivDet-Iris competition, which covers liveness detection for iris recognition, have announced that a second edition will take place.The competition will again be organised between the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Clarkson University (USA), the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the University of Notre Dame (USA) and the Institute of Control and Computation Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology (Poland).The competition aims at evaluating the current state-of-the-art in the field of presentation attack detection, both at the software and hardware levels.The competition is open to academic and industrial organizations, and is currently open for registration.The organisers expect to obtain the systems for testing by 10, November 2015.
