Sint Maarten Prime Minister William Marlin has confirmed that citizens of Aruba, Curaçao and St. Maarten will soon be able to travel between these countries with ID cards using an automated border system.Prime Minister William Marlin made the announcement to country's Parliament's Committee for Kingdom Affairs and Inter-Parliamentary Relations.The arrangement follows an agreement reached between the Ministers of Justice of these destinations.Marlin said that while this issue was the responsibility of the Justice Minister, he understood that Immigration would introduce the automated system soon. Marlin was responding to questions from the Parliamentary Committee at the time.Monday's meeting was in preparation for the Inter-Parliamentary and Kingdom Relations Consultation IPKO and tripartite meetings in The Hague scheduled from May 31 to June 3.
