MorphoTrust USA has been named an honouree of the 2016 CSO50 Award for its secure credential production facilities and processes. The awards recognise MorphoTrust for connecting security initiatives to business value with its certified driver license manufacturing facilities. As the driver license is the most commonly used proof-of-identity document in the US, many state motor vehicle agencies (MVAs) choose to have their driver licenses produced at highly secure, centralised facilities that provide the broadest range of security options and features for physical credentials. MorphoTrust says it has the most North American Security Product Organization (NASPO) certified ID production facilities in the world. Among those six facilities, two have achieved Class I certification."The CSO50 Award is an important validator of the hard work the security team and manufacturing team have done to secure the production of US driver licenses," says Dennis Kallelis, chief security officer at MorphoTrust USA. "We are fortunate at MorphoTrust to have a strong culture of security risk management, talented security staff, dedicated employees, strong corporate support, and diligent customers that believe in security. The American people depend on the driver license to assert their identities and place a high level of trust in the authenticity of the credential. With this award, CSO recognises the importance of securing the process of manufacturing the credentials that have become the American de facto proof of Identity."MorphoTrust says the CSO50 Award builds on its on-going commitment to every aspect of secure credentials – from the initial design and security features through manufacturing and delivery to the end customer. Earlier this year, the company was also recognised by the International Organization of Standards with the ISO 14298 certification, which recognises the highest possible security requirements for credential printing systems.MorphoTrust will be exhibiting at connect:ID 2016, 14-16 March, Washington DC. connect:ID is an international conference and exhibition that focuses on all aspects of identity technologies and the opportunities for their management in both the physical and digital worlds. http://www.connectidexpo.com
