San Diego-based ImageWare Systems has appointed a seasoned IT executive to its board of directors.Dana Kammersgard currently serves as the executive vice president at Seagate Technology, a global leader in data storage solutions, where he is responsible for all storage system-related products and strategies. He previously served in a number of senior management positions at Dot Hill System Corp, a subsidiary of Seagate Technology and a manufacturer of data storage systems.”Dana has a track record for taking small organizations and substantially growing them to be leaders in their respective industries,” said Jim Miller, chairman and CEO of ImageWare. “Dana will be a valuable asset to ImageWare as we look to expose our technology to the large commercial market and seize on the opportunity in the growing biometric space.
