Arlington-based Ideal Innovations (I3) has won a US$4.97 million contract to help develop a national biometrics programme in Afghanistan.Under the contract, I3 will give support to the Afghan Ministry of Interior Biometrics Center with specialized biometrics training, systems administration of complex biometrics Information Technology (IT) systems.The Afghan Automated Biometrics Identification System (AABIS) involves extensive cooperation between the international Security Assistance Force (ISAF), NATO Training Mission-Afghanistan (NTM-A)/Combined Security Transition Command – Afghanistan (CSTC-A) and Afghan Ministries.”We are proud to provide continued support to the Afghan Ministry of Interior Biometric Center.
