Anti-counterfeiting and security specialist firm De La Rue has launched its first new security feature as part of its partnership with Opalux, a producer of premium first level security features.The strategic partnership, which was announced last October, has seen the two companies collaborate on joint product development and MyImage is the first in a series of new security features.Launching at the SDW conference in London today, MyImage, is a unique, highly secure and easy to verify personalisation feature. It is a next generation optically variable feature that uses an individual's personal data – photograph, date of birth, signature, etc. – to provide maximum security across a wide range of polycarbonate identification documents. A key benefit of this new feature is that the personalisation of the document is done using existing laser engraving personalisation systems.
