Data security startup Tharon Rankins Enterprises has launched a multimodal biometric transaction processing system that also leverages an encryption algorithm to secure financial transactions and personal data.Known as Beconux, the ATM-like system intuitively identifies biometric features before processing the user's request. It then approves the transaction that has been performed and dispenses cash.”Our priority is to provide products that span across multiple industries for the purpose of securing personal data. We want to design, develop, and test products that are tailored to meet the specific needs of our target industries,” said CEO Tharon Rankins.Beconux's launch comes amid rising ATM fraud and identity theft across the US.
