Air travel identity platform CLEAR has announced that it is now open for business at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). CLEAR will be available in all terminals at LAX, speeding travelers through security with fingerprint and iris recognition.In a statement, the firm said the launch at LAX expands CLEAR's nationwide footprint to 22 airports and six stadiums nationwide. “We are thrilled to bring CLEAR to travelers at LAX. We have no doubt the VIP CLEAR experience will resonate with Los Angeles consumers and we couldn't be more excited to offer another place for our loyal members to use CLEAR,” said CLEAR CEO Caryn Seidman-Becker. “With CLEAR as an added benefit at LAX, we continue to improve the LAX guest experience by offering choices that help travelers save time,” said LAWA Chief Executive Officer Deborah Flint. “They will benefit from the freedom to enjoy shopping, dining options, as well as other guests amenities beyond security screening.” CLEAR brought nearly 90 new jobs to LAX and was recently recognized by Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and the Equal Employment Opportunity Advisory Committee for its success in building a diverse and inclusive workforce of CLEAR ambassadors at LAX.CLEAR is certified as a Qualified Anti-terrorism Technology by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
