China's IST has detailed the deployment of a self-service passport issuance eCabinet to a local government in Liangshan.Highlighting that the issuance process only takes 15 seconds, IST states that the system simply requires citizens to scan their ID card and a receipt barcode.In a press statement, IST also highlights that Division of Immigration Administration of Liangshan Public Security Bureau will deploy another self-service issuance eCabinet for Hong Kong-Macau visit passports to provide more convenient service for citizens.
