Risk mitigation and background screening firm CARCO Group has entered into a partnership with live scan fingerprinting solutions company Accurate Biometrics that will focus on both business and Federal government projects.Accurate Biometrics, one of only 13 companies in the United States to be awarded fingerprint channeling privileges direct to the FBI, provides electronic fingerprint capture, transmission and storage for applicants requiring a fingerprint-based criminal history record check.Meanwhile, CARCO Group focuses on timely reporting and effectiveness solutions in the employment screening industry.”We are beyond excited about the opportunity to partner with Accurate Biometrics for fingerprinting services”, said Beth Sinkus, CARCO Groups SVP of Business Development.”The collaboration effort to create a fingerprinting solution that will minimize the intrusion of our client's candidates, provide extremely reliable prints, and maximize the efficiency of the process will allow us to offer a truly unique and valuable solution to many new and existing clients.”Last November, Accurate Biometrics revealed that it was readying its 50+ Illinois for an anticipated influx of patients who are completing their applications to become eligible recipients of medical marijuana under the Illinois pilot program.Under the pilot program rules, applicants seeking certification to legally access medical marijuana are required to undergo an Illinois State Police criminal background check. The Illinois State Police uses fingerprints to verify the identity of applicants and perform the background check.
