As a precautionary measure taken to minimise the risk of additional imported cases of COVID-19, the Multi-Ministry Taskforce has introduced a Stay-Home Notice (SHN) to be issued to returning Singapore citizens, permanent residents and long-term pass holders (including work passes and permits, Student's Pass, Dependant's Pass and Long-Term Visit Pass) with travel history within the last 14 days to the following regions:Regions With Effect FromIran 4 March 2020, 2359 hrsNorthern Italy 4 March 2020, 2359 hrsRepublic of Korea4 March 2020, 2359 hrsDaegu city or Cheongdo county, Republic of Korea 26 February 2020, 2359 hrsMainland China (outside of Hubei) 18 February 2020, 2359 hrsThose under the SHN will have to remain in their place of residence at all times for 14 days. The Government will continue to implement surveillance and enforcement measures to ensure compliance with the SHN, so that the well-being of the community is not put at risk.ICA will be conducting mandatory checks on Singapore citizens, permanent residents and Long-Term Visit Pass holders who are placed on a 14-day SHN, from the day of return from the regions listed above.
