South Korea's Samsung SDS has entered an alliance with US-based security firm Oracle to work on biometrics.Samsung SDS' biometric authentication solution will be used in Oracle's Identity Access Management, or IAM suite.The users of IAM will be able to increase security through fingerprint, voice, face, and iris recognition, the company added.A partnership between the two sides was concluded on the sidelines of the Oracle OpenWorld 2016 event being held in San Francisco.Samsung SDS President Hong Won-pyo said in a company statement that in addition to the partnership, the company will step up its global marketing with cooperation from Oracle in health care solutions.
