Realtime North America has revealed that its biometric fraud prevention solution, biolock, is now compliant with SAP HANA.Biometric identity management tool Biolock is the only natively embedded biometric security system certified by SAP, according to realtime North America.SAP HANA is an in-memory, column-oriented, relational OLTP/OLAP database management system designed to handle both high transaction rates and complex query processing on the same platform.BioLock, which has been integrated with Fujitsu's palm vein scanners, manages log-ons and enables re-authentication at granular levels within an SAP system. It helps ensure compliance with GRC policies and regulatory requirements such as SOX, HIPAA and more.According to Thomas Neudenberger, COO of realtime North America Inc., “As part of our commitment to the upgrade path chosen by many SAP customers, who are migrating to HANA already or in the near future, we are pleased to confirm this development milestone.”
