Chinese smartphone developer One Plus has boasted that the fingerprint sensor on its next flagship model will work faster than the Touch ID solution deployed on the iPhone.On blog post, the firm said its OnePlus 2 model will have a sensor that is “refined and lightning quick, unlocking your device faster than TouchID”.It states that while the average person checks their phone over 200 times per day. Meaning that f a user spends just three seconds inputting a PIN number or pattern, that's over an hour of their time gone each week.OnePlus has already confirmed that the OnePlus 2 will also feature a modified Snapdragon 810 processor and USB-C.”On the OnePlus 2, one quick tap takes you right to your homescreen. With the ability to store up to five fingerprint profiles, it's fast, it's safe, and it's secure”.The OnePlus 1 has gained plaudits for offering the hardware specs of competitors such as the Samsung Galaxy, but at a lower price.
