Images of official cases for the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus obtained by trade media show a space for a rear fingerprint sensor. On the back of the cases there is a clear cut-out for what will be the camera and alongside it, the fingerprint scanner. However, the cutout doesn't really seem to be wide enough to accommodate the fingerprint sensor. There have been many reports of 'leaked' images from case makers, some didn't match the live image of the Galaxy S8, posted by reputable tipster Evan Blass. This latest image is in line with previous rumors, but that doesn't mean that it's 100% accurate. The two handsets will be powered by either the Snapdragon 835 chipset or the Exynos 8895 SoC depending on the country. 4GB/6GB of RAM will be inside. A 12MP rear-facing camera and a 5MP front-facing selfie shooter are expected to be on board. A Type-C USB port is included, and the Galaxy S8 is expected to carry a 3250mAh battery. We will get a 60-second glimpse of the phone at MWC thanks to a brief video that Samsung will show. The introduction of the eagerly awaited handset is rumored to take place on March 29th.
