Following its public listing and acquisition of PYRAL, MULANN, a developer and manufacturer of production equipment for the smart and plastic card and magnetic tape industries, has announced changes to its management structure to support and enable the company's plans for growth.Aurelie Blot has been appointed chief commercial officer for the MULANN Group. She is in charge of developing global sales of MULANN's smart and plastic card production equipment and PYRAL's magnetic tape and products for cards and tickets. She joins MULANN's Board of Management and will be instrumental in achieving 2015's 8 million euros sales objective for the company. She was previously sales manager for test and production machines for cards and ePassports at BG Ingenierie.Laurent Perdrieau has been appointed Chief Technology Officer. He has been with the MULANN Group for more than two years and is now in charge of all MULANN's and PYRAL's R&D. He also joins the Board of Management. Mr Perdrieau has over 25 years of experience in embedded systems and ICT.Gilles Lepage has been appointed Director of MULANN's plant in Avranches, France, which manufactures magnetic tape products for the smart card and magstripe cards and ticketing industries that are sold under the PYRAL brand name. In this newly created position, Mr Lepage is responsible for the structure, organisation and development of manufacturing at the factory. He joins from Magnetto Automotive, where he had been factory director for more than 10 years."With these new key executives, we are structuring our organisation to bring MULANN and PYRAL activities under a single management structure," says Jean-Luc Renou, CEO, MULANN. "After our successful launch on the Euronext Paris MarchÉ Libre, we are planning to expand our activities and to list on the Euronext Paris regulated market within the next two years."MULANN Group includes MULANN SA, which develops manufacturing equipment for the smart card industry (banking card, transport cards and tickets, ID cards and driving licences) and SIM cards (smart phones), and MULANN Industrie SAS, which manufactures magnetic products and foils for the cards and ticketing markets and sold under the PYRAL brand name.
