MOSIP announced the launch of Claim 169 – a standardised, interoperable QR code, now successfully registered in the CBOR Web Token (CWT) Registry by IANA.
In an update on Linkedin, the company posted:
“By enabling secure facial authentication in remote areas with limited network connectivity, Claim 169 represents an important milestone in our goal to enhance interoperability and enable residents with reliable access to social benefits and government services”.
Providing modular infrastructure to underpin national ID systems worldwide, MOSIP promised broader adoption of this standard and uniform commitment on interoperability through their work on ID programmes around the world.
