At the beginning of August 2019, the Minister of Interior of Montenegro, His Excellency Mr. Mevludin Nuhodzic, signed a contract with Mühlbauer ID Services GmbH, the leader of an international consortium, to supply of system for the next generation of Montenegro passports, ID cards in ID1-format, as well as driver's licenses and resident permits.In addition to the delivery of blank documents, the project's scope also includes the supply of high-tech equipment for the biometric enrollment of citizens, as well as systems for data management and state-of-the art document personalization. The project further comprises a central system for the issuance of documents and the set-up of a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).As main solution partner to the government of Montenegro, Mühlbauer ID Services GmbH is committed to provide all necessary support to ensure a seamless implementation of the project. The system will go live in December 2019.
