The US's General Services Administration is seeking bids on a potential 10-year contract for a government-wide personal identity verification system.In a FedBizOpps solicitation notice posted Wednesday, the GSA said it needs identity and credential management services for the USAccess Program as part of Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12.A chosen vendor will help refresh the platform as well as provide and implement equipment at fixed credentialing facilities for customer agencies as part of the contract, GSA noted.”The objective of this procurement is to acquire a solution that will provide the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) HSPD-12 MSO USAccess Program uninterrupted, Government-wide contractor managed services for identity and credential management services including: 1) applicant sponsorship, enrollment , biometric submission (for background investigation purposes); 2) credential issuance, maintenance (certificate rekey) and management and 3) Biographic & Agency Specific Sponsorship Record maintenance.”
