GKD Global, a leading global provider of document processing and workflow automation services, has summarised the results of its technical cooperation with OCR Studio, an international developer of ID scanning technologies. Over the past year, OCR Studio helped GKD Global achieve 100% ID scanning accuracy, reduce personnel costs by 20%, and increase ID document processing speed by two times. Following these results, GKD Global has renewed its contract with OCR Studio and expanded the cooperation to include OCR Studio’s newly launched multi-script OCR technology for high-volume international document workflows.
GKD Global helps customers worldwide process documents for regulated and business-critical operations. Every day, the company works with passports, ID cards, driver’s licenses, residence permits, visas, and other government-issued identity documents from hundreds of countries and jurisdictions. With OCR Studio’s latest multi-script solution, GKD Global eliminated manual retyping and routine rechecking of document data even across some of the world’s most complex writing systems, including Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Cyrillic, and Thai.

OCR Studio’s solution operates within GKD Global’s secure infrastructure and does not send document images to external services for processing. The technology extracts data from ID documents in under a second without GPU acceleration, making it suitable for large-scale document clearing and enterprise workflow automation. The solution is designed to support compliance with international and local personal data protection requirements, including the EU GDPR, China’s PIPL, the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, Saudi Arabia’s PDPL, and other major privacy frameworks.
