Some 3500 biometric election kits have been distributed to districts in Ghana as part of a nationwide registration drive.A nationwide limited voters' registration exercise is scheduled for April 28 to May 2, while a second phase will be held from May 4 to May 8, 2016, the Electoral Commission has said. There will be two electoral districts for each biometric registration kit, with the centres to be manned by 21,000 EC officials. The Commission says persons who have lost their voters' identity cards and those who wish to transfer their votes from one area to the other need not register again during the limited registration.
