Sweden's Fingerprint Cards has revealed that its touch fingerprint sensor FPC1155 features in the Android smartphone Z1 developed by Chinese manufacturer ZUK.Jörgen Lantto, CEO of FPC, said: “ZUK is a prominent smartphone manufacturer in China and we are proud that ZUK selected FPC1155 for Z1, its first smartphone integrating a touch fingerprint sensor. FPC1155 supports 360 degree finger rotation capability, fast response time and industry leading 3D image quality”.Sales of the FPC1155 for this smartphone model are included in FPC's communicated revenue guidance of approximately 2,200 MSEK for 2015, the company added.Earlier this week, Precise Biometrics' revealed that a product it has developed for fingerprint recognition in mobile devices, Precise BioMatchMobile, has through cooperation with Fingerprint Cards (FPC) been integrated in a smartphone from a Chinese manufacturer.
