Gemalto has announced it is delivering its Sealys Premium Inlay and embedded Sealys eTravel Software for Colombia's first national ePassport programme. The company is working alongside Thomas Greg and Sons, a specialist in secure printing.According to Gemalto, the Colombian ePassports leverage its new flexible Sealys Inlay technology providing improved issuance and delivery capabilities to ensure rapid deployment of secure documents while enhancing travel for Colombia's 38 million citizens.Gemalto says its embedded Sealys eTravel software is ICAO Common Criteria certified and achieves industry-leading speeds for both personalisation and secure data access.
