Biometric authentication solution firm BIO-key has announced a successful completion of US 12-city tour with Microsoft that demoed the former's fingerprint scanners and software solutions working as part of the US launch of Windows 10 for Business and Office 2016.Microsoft featured BIO-key as its only biometric solution partner on the launch, with the firm also noting that more than 40 percent of those in attendance met with BIO-key and requested engagement regarding BIO-key products for Windows 10 and Hello, Microsoft's native biometric logon option.Windows Hello, part of Windows 10, is a new way to sign in to devices, apps, online services, and networks that offers numerous biometric options including facial, fingerprint and iris recognition.BIO-key noted in a press statement that its line of scanners work natively with Windows 10, adding that advanced solutions are also available for enterprise users of its biometric technology requiring integration with Active Directory or public/private clouds.”We are excited to see innovative partners like BIO-key offering high-quality biometric accessories that work seamlessly with Windows Hello.
