The chairman of Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer Asus has confirmed that the company's next flagship model will feature fingerprint recognition.Asus chairman Jonney Shih last week at a product launch in China said the new model featuring biometrics could be release as early as the second half of this year.Shih said that the new feature will be seen in either the company's forthcoming ZenFone 3, or in ZenFone 2 variants expected to hit store shelves in the second half of this year.The ZenFone 2 already features a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a 3000mAh battery, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter 2/4GB of RAM and 16/32/64GB of storage with micro SD support.
