ID security software pioneers IDGateway have successfully launched their AirportGateway ID pass management platform with the New Zealand Aviation Security Service at their airports in New Zealand.The firm said this is a testament to the determination and values of both the New Zealand Aviation Security Service and IDGateway to ensure security and efficiency is of top priority.The largest airport utilising AirportGateway is Auckland Airport with 21M passengers per annum, while the smallest is Rotorua at 265.5K passengers per annum. The list of airports in which the New Zealand Aviation Security Service is transitioning to AirportGateway include; Auckland International, Christchurch International, Wellington International, Queenstown, Dunedin, Nelson, Napier Hawkes Bay, Palmerston North, Tauranga, New Plymouth, Hamilton, Invercargill, Blenheim and Rotorua. Collectively they manage over 42.6M passengers per annum, which is 3.2% higher than 2018.The New Zealand Aviation Security Service is part of the Civil Aviation Authority for New Zealand and is the official provider of aviation security in New Zealand. The New Zealand Aviation Security Service first approached IDGateway about the AirportGateway solution with their need for a replacement solution in 2018 as their existing solution had reached end of life and they were seeking a new seamless and cloud based technology to ensure their ID Pass management platform was able to deliver using modern technologies.The New Zealand Aviation Security Service and IDGateway teams have worked hard together to create a solution that that is tailored to the intricate needs of the New Zealand Aviation Security Service at their airports. This bespoke project included customising areas of the AirportGateway platform and re-configuring rules and processes to meet the security standards and expectations of airport teams.
