Windows has added the capability for its Edge browser to use the multimodal biometric authentication solution Hello, which is embedded in Windows 10.The addition means that users will be able to use fingerprint, iris or facial recognition to secure their access to websites.The new feature is slated for its full public release as part of the Windows 10 Anniversary Update in late July,USAA Bank has already stated that it will be among the first companies to take advantage of Windows Hello for websites.According to a post on Windows Central, USAA Banking customers will be able to log in using either fingerprints (such as certain versions of the Surface Pro 4 type cover) or retinal scans, seen on supporting laptops and the Lumia 950 series phones.
