Japanese tech giant Sharp has revealed that its Aquos S2 smartphone will be the first device to be released with a fingerprint scanner integrated into the screen.Leaked images show the Aquos 2 flaunting a total bezel-less design with an underglass fingerprint scanner. On the rear, we find dual cameras placed vertically, akin to what we might see in iPhone 8.The difficulty of implementing in-glass sensors has already been felt by Samsung and Apple.Images of the smartphone have appeared in the Chinese microblogging service Weibo. The new frame generally confirms the information from a teaser which was previously shared by the company itself.Another leak has revealed that the Aquos S2 will feature either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 or a Snapdragon 630 processor, either 4GB or 64GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. The leak also claims that the new device will be priced at 2699 Yuan and 3499 Yuan for the two variants, respectively, and will be launched on August 8, 2017.
