Saudi Arabian telecommunications firm Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) has said customers must register their fingerprint by the end of their month under a new system being introduced by the authorities.Voice Postpaid, Prepaid and Data Sims Cards before the deadline specified by the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) by July to avoid service suspension as per CITC rules.Subscribers in Mobily data packages can visit any Mobily's branch or authorized distributors and resellers with their national identity or iqama in addition to the data SIM card to register the fingerprint in addition to register from national portal (Abshir) through document service “Wathiq”, a company statement said.Mobily will register fingerprint at all headquarters of ministries, governmental & private associations, and military staff in southern border, providing this free service to subscribers, the statement added.
