Precise Biometrics has received a 1.1 million SEK order for 1200 Tactivo from the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) within the US Department of Defense.According to Precise, DLA continues to invest in its mobility solution that provides secure email and browsing capabilities on iOS devices. The solution is based on the existing Common Access Card (CAC) infrastructure and adds to the overall usability of the smart card system. The order, which has been placed through Precise Biometrics' partner Carahsoft, includes Tactivo for iPhone and iPad devices."We are pleased to see that the DLA is following up on its previous order from December," says Håkan Persson, CEO, Precise Biometrics. "This shows its confidence and commitment to Tactivo for convenient and secure mobile access to information systems and resources. The solution increases employee flexibility and efficiency, while ensuring a high level of security by using two factor authentication.
