According to Precise Biometrics, the acquisition enables it to expand its offering of fingerprint recognition software with industry leading liveness detection that provides competitive advantages, strengthen the company´s position as the leader in fingerprint software and create further conditions for growth in the booming market for fingerprint technology.NexID Biometrics' turnover for 2016 was 2.2 million SEK, showing a minor loss. The company will be integrated in Precise Biometrics' Fingerprint Technology business area.
