The Phillipine island of Negros has started to use the biometric machines for the employees' Daily Time Record (DTR).Occidental Acting Administrator Lucille Gelvolea said 17 biometric machines were installed all over the offices at the Provincial Capitol, the Provincial Administration Center and the Provincial Veterinary Office,She said this development is part of the plan submitted by the Provincial Government to the Civil Service Commission.Gelvolea said the biometric machines have been purchased by the province several months ago but it was only installed and implemented yesterday.The biometrics, she said, are computerized and that the Human Resource Department will be the one to print all DTR of the employees.Employees will have to secure pass slip and travel order in case they are assigned outside the Capitol or on official travel to avoid being marked absent, Gelvolea added.
