Voice authentication specialists AGNITiO and global biometric firm Morpho (Safran) have revealed plans to partner on a law enforcement solution that will help agencies around the world identify criminals.Under the partnership, Morpho will add AGNITiO's Voice iD technology to its line of multi-modal criminal identification biometric products. The addition will boost investigators' ability to identify suspects in cases where voice is the only available evidence.”Morpho's biometric products have successfully helped many investigations; however, as criminals become more sophisticated, new law enforcement tools are required,” said Philippe Vinci, EVP Sales and Marketing at AGNITiO.”Voice iD is extremely accurate, beyond 99 percent, and requires only a few seconds of a live or recorded voice to search and make a match. With Morpho Criminal ID solutions, law enforcement officers will have new valuable information in real time.”Morpho's law enforcement tools include background checks, facial recognition, latent print identification and automated analysis of biometric data. It also offers a range of portable terminals that enable police forces in the field to identify individuals in real time.
