Sweden's Fingerprint Cards has revealed that its touch sensor, the FPC1035, features in the Huawei Honor 8.The addition underlines that the Chinese smartphone maker has consistently turned to FPC for its sensors.In January, Huawei announced their Android tablet, MediaPad M2, would feature FPC's touch fingerprint sensor FPC1155. In February, Huawei announced that their new 2-in-1 device MateBook would have FPC's touch fingerprint sensor FPC1145.At the time, Jörgen Lantto, CEO of FPC, commented: “Huawei is a leading global smartphone manufacturer and we are proud that Huawei selected FPC1145 for their new 2-in-1 device MateBook, following the successful launch of several successful smartphones with FPC touch fingerprint sensors. FPC1145 supports 360 degree finger rotation capability, fast response time and industry leading 3D image quality”.
