Swedish biometric firm Fingerprint Cards has confirmed that its touch sensor FPC1035 features in the new LG X Fast.The X Fast, to be launched by LG in Taiwan, is expected to have the same specs as the X mach – which was made official back in June this year.The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 808 SoC, and sports a 5.5-inch QHD display. It comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, and packs in a 3,000mAh battery.FPC sensors have featured in numerous LG phones this year, including the flagship smartphone model G5.Jörgen Lantto, CEO of FPC, commented on the G5 deployment: “LG is a leading global smartphone manufacturer and we are proud to provide FPC1035 to LG for G5, following the successful launch of V10 in 2015, also using FPC1035. FPC1035 supports 360 degree finger rotation capability, fast response time and industry leading 3D image quality”.
