Chinese smartphone maker ZTE has announced its Android smartphone Axon Mini features the touch fingerprint sensor FPC1025 developed by Fingerprint Cards.FPC noted in a statement that sales of FPC1025 for this smartphone model are included in FPC's communicated revenue guidance of approximately 2,500 MSEK (US$295 million) for 2015.Jörgen Lantto, CEO of FPC, commented: “ZTE is a leading smartphone manufacturer and we are proud that ZTE selected FPC1025 for Axon Mini, following up on the success of Axon, also embedding FPC1025. FPC1025 supports 360 degree finger rotation capability, fast response time and industry leading 3D image quality”.Precise Biometrics noted the same day that its BioMatch Mobile solution had been integrated in a new Chinese smartphone.”We are pleased that the vendor has chosen to integrate Precise BioMatch Mobile in an additional smartphone model.
