Police in St Petersburg, West Florida have teamed up with experts from British and American universities to give officers testing on their natural facial recognition capabilities.The St. Petersburg Police officers are taking the 'Super Recognizer' test through work with Dr. Brad Duchaine of Dartmouth College and Dr. Laura Germine of Harvard University, to test the officers at no cost.The test can identify the employees at the department who are the naturally gifted at facial recognition. SPPD is the first police force in the nation to try and do it scientifically, according their press release.
