Swedish fingerprint sensor maker Fingerprint Cards has appointed Henrik Sundell as general counsel, with the new appointment set to be responsible for FPC's legal affairs through a broad experience from similar positions in the Swedish industry.Jörgen Lantto, acting President and Chief Executive Officer of FPC, comments: “We are very happy to see Henrik strengthening FPC and our leadership team. I am looking forward to contributing to FPC's continued success and help to create a strong Swedish semiconductor supplier in a global market.”In January, Fingerprint Cards announced the launch of two new touch fingerprint sensors and plans to collaborate with China-based electronic firm O-Film.The company revealed on 5 January that it was launching the new FPC1140 and FPC1145 fingerprint sensors, saying that they were the smallest touch fingerprint sensors made by FPC to date.”FPC1140 and FPC1145 provide state of the art biometric performance while reducing size and increasing industrial design options”, said the company.
