Swedish fingerprint sensor maker Fingerprint Cards has announced that its FPC1025 sensor features in the Huawei Mate 8, and that its 2016 revenue guidance will be revealed on 9 December.A press release containing the 2016 revenue guidance will be published on that day at 1.00 P.M, CET.Earlier this year, FPC revealed that its revenues amounted to SEK 964 million (US$111 million) in the third quarter, an increase of 1,358% compared with the third quarter of 2014.Operating profit for the period reached SEK 346.1 million, with earnings per share increasing to SEK 5.58. Meanwhile, an Order backlog at the end of the period was worth SEK 1,788 million.Revenues for the fourth quarter of 2015 are now expected to be SEK 1,200-1,300 M, corresponding to a year-on-year growth between 1,043-1,138%.Last week, Jörgen Lantto, President and CEO, noted that the firm has provided sensors to nine out of China's top 10 OEMs.
