Facebook has revealed a new video analytics technology working with biometrics that would automatically tag friends in uploaded videos.The concept was revealed at the Facebook Developer Conference, an annual gathering for the facebook developer community.The new feature will be added to the Facebook platform, meaning users will be able to activate an auto-tagging feature for the uploaded videos. The new feature is based on a artificial intelligence software, created by the company.”You can imagine us building image search on steroids. Think of what Google Photos lets you do, but think of what Facebook's implementation would look like” said Joaquin Quiñonero Candela at the conference.
