Entrust Datacard has released the Datacard TruCredential Suite Software, version 7.1.TruCredential software is used to issue credentials such as student, faculty or visitor IDs; employee or contract badges; patient and staff healthcare IDs; credentials for local government programmes; membership and customer loyalty cards; and transit passes.According to the company, the previously released TruCredential Software was developed by integrating existing Datacard global software credentialing products into one modernised platform and the 7.1 upgrade continues to optimise the software with enhancements that provide for easier set-up configuration."For most organisations, the ability to positively identify employees, students and visitors serves as the foundation for effective physical security – which requires a flexible web-based secure credential solution," says Ryan Zlockie, vice president of software product management for Entrust Datacard.
